Annual Meeting
Each December the WSHA Annual Meeting which alternates between Yakima and Wenatchee presents three days of educational offerings as well as the most extensive trade show for the tree fruit industry. This three-day event of tree fruit growers and shippers serves as a forum for producers to discuss the latest trends occurring within the tree fruit industry. Visit the following link to learn more.
Golf Tournament
In addition to the annual meeting, we hold an annual golf scholarship tournament each August and all proceeds from the tournament support scholarships that are awarded to students in honor of past tree fruit industry leaders. Over the past thirteen years, the tournament has raised more than $142,838 for student scholarships. Learn More about the tournament and sponsorship opportunities.
Tree Fruit Day
At the beginning of each year, tree fruit producers gather in Olympia, to participate in our Annual Tree Fruit Day which brings political attention to the state's tree fruit industry. During Tree Fruit Day, gift boxes are distributed to every Washington state Senator, representative and legislative assistant. Participants personally meet with many key legislators to brief them on tree fruit issues. Face-to-face meetings with legislators are absolutely crucial for legislators to understand and hear our issues. Learn more and how you can participate in Tree Fruit Day.
